In many countries of the west, it is worn on the right hand. However, in some European countries like Russia and Poland it is traditionally worn on the right hand. Whichever hand the ring may go; the finger is always the same. People believe that the ring finger is connected directly to the heart and therefore the gift of one’s love should be placed close to one’s heart.
